What to expect for your Surgery
Once Seattle Vascular Surgery has scheduled your surgery, you will receive pre-op instructions via email, fax, or postal mail. If pre-surgical testing (such as an EKG or other workup – cardiac, pulmonary, neurology, etc.) is required, testing must be completed prior to the date of surgery.
Ordered lab work is a portion of the early check-in time.
- If surgery is planned as Out-Patient, coordination of a ride with a family member or friend is necessary for hospital discharge.
- If surgery is planned as In-Patient, you will be given an estimate of the number of days for your hospital stay.
