We’re Open During COVID-19

Seattle Vascular Surgery will remain open at reduced hours, during the COVID-19 outbreak, to continue care of our patients and to ease the burden of local emergency rooms treating those impacted by the pandemic. We will continue to see patients at our 5 convenient locations: Seattle, Edmonds, Issaquah, Tukwila, and Sequim.

We are taking the spread of COVID-19 seriously and have implemented additional safety measures to continue providing exceptional care to both you — our patients, and team. Our office stays current and is compliant with local government mandates, as well as the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and Department of Health (DOH) recommended guidelines.

In the commitment to keeping our patients, staff, and family members safe, our practice has taken the following actions:

  • Restricting access to anyone, including employees, experiencing symptoms of fever, cough, or respiratory distress
  • Phone screening all patients, skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, one day prior to their appointment
  • Increasing handwashing
  • Regularly disinfecting all high touch surfaces, including but not limited to: pens, clipboards, desks, chairs, door handles, etc.
  • Utilizing a professional medical grade cleaning service at the end of each business day
  • Limiting the amount of staff at each location to allow for social distancing
  • Allowing staff who are able to work remotely to work from home
  • Adding extra time for patient appointments to prevent overcrowding in the waiting room
  • Offering Telemedicine for those who are not urgent or are quarantined at home so there will be no disruption to your care
  • Conducting staff and business meetings electronically to limit in person interaction
  • Supporting staff and their family’s needs, during this challenging time, so our team remains fully committed and focused on your care

Our hearts go out to everyone affected by COVID-19.  We hope everyone remains safe, calm, and vigilant. Let us all continue to take care of each other, do our part in slowing down the spread of this virus, and work together as a community through this pandemic.

Sincerely,
The Seattle Vascular Surgery Team
